"People say, 'It must be easy.' But high performing schools have a lot of stakeholder involvement and it's very different from the stakeholder involvement you would have in a lower performing school. Where everybody's focused on, 'How can we prop Ed up?' and 'What can we build on?' Here it's questioning everything: 'What are you doing? Why are you doing this? What are the outcomes of this? Where is this going to get us?' And people are a little more hesitant to take risks."
